App for finding and managing the buoy.

The mobile app is the best way to receive messages and locations from the Scout buoy. The app is web based and optimized for mobile devices like a smartphone or tablet and works on iOS and Android. The app requires a connection to the internet in order to receive messages. If you are in an area that you are unable to connect to the internet, then relaying coordinates via voice (e.g. VHF radios) from a person who is will be necessary

Users are assigned to teams that can have access to one or many Scout buoys. There are 2 types of roles for a user, member or administrator. Administrators have access to more functions, specifically the ability to put the Scout buoy to sleep.

The App is organized into 3 main functions

Locate: For seeing locations (latitude and longitude) and way-finding to the Scout buoy.

Map: See Scout location and your location in real time on a map

Settings: Buoy and user metadata (e.g. IMEI, battery, group, role). Set the message reporting interval. See other buoys (if your role allows)
