Manage the settings of Scout

This the page to administer various settings for the Scout.

Scout settings page

  1. Drop-down list to choose which buoy to track (if you have access to multiple buoys)

  2. Details about the Scout

  3. Name of the Scout - use this function if you want to re-name your Scout

  4. Set the interval of time between messages (10min, 30min, 1 hour)

  5. Set the duration of time to put the Scout to sleep (12hrs, 24hrs, 72hrs) - this does not affect the interval (e.g. if a Scout is put to sleep for 24 hours, when it wakes it will begin sending messages at the set interval). As best practice, always set the interval to 10 min before putting the Scout to sleep.
